The challenge of creating fresh new spaces within the home is what inspires me the most.

Everyone has a vision for their home and to me design is like working out the pieces of the puzzle and watching it come together, that is the rewarding part.

Our home is our haven fulfilling the needs of family within, the centrepiece of our lives where we build our families and memories.

As someone who loves to cook and entertain, I understand the importance of a kitchen that functions well as the core of the home.

With a hands-on approach, I will guide you on your journey to creating or re-creating any room within the home.

My 30 year extensive design career began in Interior Design and then my love of kitchens began to evolve, to becoming a certified kitchen designer CKDNZ.

I have worked for many of Auckland’s prominent companies during that time, eventually forming my own company Colleen Holder Design Ltd. 

As a certified Platinum Designer, I am very involved in our industry and a member of the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association / NKBA.

I am currently the treasurer for DNKBA / Designers of NKBA.

I frequently attend trade shows and conferences in NZ & overseas to keep up to date with current trends and refresh ideas.

I work alongside an excellent team of professionals, including my cabinetmaker McGregor Kitchens Ltd. who pride themselves on meticulous attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Good teamwork is critical to delivering the best for you as my client and each project is just as important as the previous one.
